LUX ÆTERNA LUCEAT EIS
You who embroils the web of death
do not look at my people
by this song that names them.
But if the night fragments its cover
may your grove be a glow
where their feet are washed with the calm
of your waving hand,
give them a tree where the dream
can fly its birds.
If my voice rises,
it is because it recognizes in you all the riverbeds.
If my hand serves you,
intone my name to fall from you,
with you in the blaze of that fire.
